Who we are
Micasa Technologies Inc. ("Micasa", "we") operates the real estate intelligence platform at mi.casa. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry, sign up for our newsletter, or create an account, we collect the name, email, phone number, and message you provide.
Public registry data. Our platform surfaces information that is already public record in Costa Rica's National Registry, including property ownership history, encumbrances, and parcel boundaries.
Automatic information. Like most websites, we log basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, page URL) to operate the service, detect abuse, and understand aggregate usage.
How we use it
- Route your property inquiries to the relevant listing broker.
- Send you transactional email (inquiry confirmations, replies).
- Send newsletters only to subscribers who opted in.
- Improve the platform — detect bugs, measure feature usage.
- Prevent abuse of the platform.
We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share with
We share your inquiry details with the broker or agent associated with the listing you inquired about. We use trusted service providers (hosting, transactional email, analytics) that are contractually bound to protect your information.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from newsletters at any time using the link in any email.
- Request deletion of your account and inquiry history by contacting us.
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
